Artist Statement
At Gomm Studios, we build and sell custom stained glass, both residential and commercial. This includes beveled panels for furniture, and a line of "quilt block" panels for the seasons. We specialize in design and construction of one of a kind designs. To design a window or order a piece, call us at 801-344-0178. Or you can e-mail us at the address: [email protected]
Jeanne designs most of the panels, David refines the designs and cuts the glass, then we both assemble and install the windows. The biggest panel we've made so far was the 100 square foot installation in the North Gallery of the Covey Center For The Arts in Provo, Utah.

"Shelter From The Storm"
In wind-blown clothing of slate and blue, a girl wraps herself and tries to shelter herself from the winds that threaten to blow her away.
She is bombarded by the winds which blow to and fro, tossed about by every wind of doctrine.
She could represent Mother Eve being driven from the garden. Of course, Eve probably didn't wear printed cloth, but the "feel" of battling against the elements seems appropriate for the feeling that Eve must have felt, being driven from her first home.
The piece measures 18" wide by 30" tall.

We got lucky, it took a lot of planning but the amount of the corded glass that shows after we get done with the install of this oval piece is perfect.
The "Dance Of Life" is a huge installation that took us several months to complete. Over 85 square feet of glass create an inspirational panorama in this Provo Residence.
